Our close installation partner, Nicos, are a specialist in installing university laboratories, most of which require cleanroom systems. They have been a specialist in this subsector for more than 10 years.Despite normally focusing on UK universities, Nicos took on this project for the prestigious Ivy League research university, Yale University, based in New Haven, Connecticut, USA.
Project Details
Yale University is highly acclaimed for many subjects, including Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, which out of Yale’s total of 80 majors, is their 4th most popular subject to major in.
This was an interesting project for us as it involved an array of different cleanroom components and bespoke solutions in order to deliver the perfect results. Nicos chose to work with us for this project due to our capability to integrate many complex details seamlessly within one lab space.
This project had many unique features, including but not limited to:
- Electric Latch Locking Doors.
- Panels On Legs -To allow lateral air flow cascades.
- Grid Ceiling System with sections integrated with our 50mm walk on ceiling
- Stainless Steel Elements –To handle the regular cleaning regimes
